Just finished reading about day 2 for the battle of Gettysburg. I remember as a middle schooler writing a three paragraph report about it. Each paragraph for the three days of battle. That was probably the first writing assignment I actually enjoyed. A Canadian kid writing about the most pivotal battle in the American Civil War. My teacher noted how detailed the report was. Good memories.
