I appreciate her distinguishing between being lied to and having information withheld.

I knew there was stuff about Maren liking a guy or something, but I’m honestly uncomfortable with her dreaming about kissing him when she’s on a quest to save her girlfriend/heartmate… feels like emotional cheating, though she’s aghast to dream about anyone other than Kaia.

Kinda getting more interesting, but also feels mediocre…

Early yet, but I’m not sure how I feel about this so far… It almost feels a struggle to read, and idk if influenced by others’ reviews or just not in right mood or this book just isn’t for me…

Not giving up yet, but so far eh 🤷‍♀️
