"Oh," Midge mumbled, "I guess that was Grandma."

Lindsey (Books for Christian Girls) Grandma wasn't about to get grounded. Bur Midge was. No frog hunting--or even rescuing--for the next week. It would have been longer, but Mom said Midge was trying to save the frog, after all.
I didn't point out that before that she'd been trying to trap it in a pickle jar.
