More technical than descriptive. I guess this book, which is part of a series, was meant to be read by academics, rather than casual readers. Nonetheless, as paleo enthusiast, I am finding a treasure trove of new species about which I was utterly ignorant.

So far, the content is quite arid, unfortunately. The author limits his work to a long list of names and places, after a really brief detour of the main geological feats of that particular site.
