I hope the “plot/political intrigue” doesn’t overtake the smut in the second half because it’s just not where this book’s strength lies. I don’t want to think about how stupid something is. I just want to enjoy some spice. (Which this has been good about giving, lol.)

Just reading for spice, and this pretty much doesn’t waste time getting there, lol. First meeting within the first 20 pages and not stopping. I appreciate that, thank you. :P A little bothered by her race/ethnicity considering her role, but still will read.
