Did the author really just praise police for their ability to turn off their reasoning skills and act on instinct AND then praise a cop for being in a lot of shootouts and going on to train other cops across the country to react without thinking in high stress situations too? Yes, she did. How did that make it past the 2024 revision of this book? Beats me. This doesn’t bode well for the next chapter on Israel.
