There is no logic to Delia’s return to surrey.

The push pull is getting annoying.

“exposing an endless length of muscular forearm.” Is it really ENDLESS?

The sequence of events and actions of the characters just don’t feel organic.

“You shouldn’t play with a man like me,” he managed to whisper, Good to know it’s her fault.

A lot of this dialogue, while it doesn’t read awkwardly, it doesn’t make a lot of sense in context.
