I'm not a big fan of memoirs, but I have been enjoying them of late.
Dug into the first 2 chapters under the context "Becoming Me". Michelle is giving us a peak into her childhood and family. I like the descriptive writing and how she addresses some of the biases in her family whilst still honouring them.

I've just finished reading the 1st subheading - Becoming Me. There is so much I can relate to - from Michelle's curiosity, her love for getting things done and attaining success, her steadfastness, being made to feel different like an outsider... I enjoyed chapter 8, which details how she met Barack and when she realised that she's into him. I love a love story
