This book makes me so uncomfortably sad. Definitely mind the trigger warnings, they are all there. Can’t say that it’s overly violent or graphic, no. What unsettles me the most is the casual, almost mundane show of this violence. I can read it only by the smallest bites, so I suppose it will a long ride.
Love the Demon’s voice though, it’s very, very well written.
