Of 25% read so far two pages were interesting. This is all rather known and common historical trivia. A well-read person has encountered this stuff already. I should have known given the title uses four over-the-
top adjectives: unexpected, haphazard, chance, and unimaginable. Oh yeah and the quote blurb (on cover) adds inspiring and dream-inducing to the adjectival gush. Wait, it won a book award. I must be wrong.
