Sooooo overwritten. Now I remember why I dropped this book in the middle of the "Cross-Time Caper" back in 1990. Once Alan Davis moves on, the magic evaporates, and you're just left with an endless story filled with block after block of Claremont's interminable text, most of which is horribly dated pop-culture jokes.
