Part 1: Antisemitism
Friends, I had to switch to the audio book. But the reader is really good! The book is, of course, very good. I learned a lot about Benjamin Disraeli and especially about the Dreyfus Affair. I was particularly struck by her description of "the mob" and her discussion of Clemenceau's failure to distinguish the mob from the people. This seems like a good lesson for the leaders of today.
