The book of martha was another banger. All that power and she chose dreams! But she kinda got me with the dreams cause i love dreaming. Although i still wouldve chosen like "give people actual access to the things they need to survive" but dreams are way better than a birth limit.

I really liked amnesty

Octavia butler short stories are crazy. Idk how she builds and understands an entire world in like 10 pages...like the Bloodchild lore/back story is just sooo 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫. Kinda rude to not get whole book versions but i appreciate her Afterwords explaining the stories and why they cannot be novels. Also why could i never read 666 pages in a week when i actually had to?
