If you are a self-absorbed 50-something dude who went to boarding school and took ski holidays in Europe, you might enjoy this book. Otherwise, you will likely not. I hate-skimmed the last 100 pages bc I wanted to know what happened to the only interesting character, Emily. Truly flummoxed by the half-dozen or so casual uses of the word “rape.” Must be a middle-aged Ivy League alumnus thing.
