Only Kids are Afraid of the Dark. This story, written by a Martin in his teens, made me so jealous. It is far from perfect, but it has an immersive quality to it that makes the reader experience every bit of it. The world building is also amazing, it left me wanting to know more about Corolos, its inhabitants and the its ancient cult on Earth.
