I’ve read many books written by Doug Wilson. My impression is that this book was written in a hurry, and has many words of counselling in the Doug Wilson style- e.g. wisdom delivered with abundant irony. Sometimes throughout the book the irony is not patently obvious and you may need to stop a read it again to ensure you grasp what Doug Wilson is trying to communicate.

Thiago Martinello Me faz pensar se vale a pena perder o tempo com esse tipo de livro. Com certeza existem melhores no assunto…

Felipe Sabino What? Leu de mal humor, só pode. rsrs

Concordo totalmente com o que o Pastor Peter Jones escreveu:

A short, great book for men who have a twisted view of headship, which means most of us. His chapter on tenderness was excellent as was the sexuality catechism as the back. I am not sure why he included the essays on sex in heaven. They were fine essays, but felt a bit out of place. Other than that the book is wonderful.
