This is a DNF for me. I just couldn't with the terrible line writing, the Mary Sue FMC, and the absolute lack of believable character motivation. This was supposed to be a super diverse cast - and it might be, but if you want one that's significantly better written and more believable, go for Priory of the Orange Tree and A Day of Fallen Night.
