I chose this book because I thought it looked very interesting. This book proved to be a nonstop thriller, as described by BOOKLIST on the front cover. This book was extremely entertaining and I enjoyed it very much.

I find the plot of this book to be very interesting, as you can never guess what is going to happen next. I really enjoy the authors writing style and how the plot moves along smoothly. The plot is very well written and I have very much enjoyed reading this book.

Reeve is trying to live a normal life after she was kidnapped as a young girl by Flint, a crazy man who was locked up in a mental institute. Unfortunately, he escapes. "That's when he realized she was speaking in code" (Norton 11). His mother helped him plan his escape.

Reeve is a college student who was kidnapped by a sick man as a young girl. She tries to fit in at her sorority and be a normal college student. Her kidnapped, Flint, is kept at a psychiatric hospital until he plans and completes his escape, with the help of his mother and the barber he brutally murdered.
