Is it just me or is it hard for you too guys these days to still be interested in a book once u make it past 50% . Like I ll be devouring the pages at first but once halfway through finishing it feels like a chore and I want to start another just for the cycle to repeat itself.

Yes, this has been happening to me too and I just don’t have the time! I hope it does not stay the same for a while! But it is good to take a break from books especially ones with a lot of emotion.

Honestly it's the opposite for me. I won't be interested in the book for the first 50% then i will be obsessed with the last half! It's weird.

ughh this totally happened to me with nothing like the movies!! i unfortunately over hyped it in my head, rushed through the first half, and once the new-book-adrenaline wore off, i was left disappointed…hopefully king of greed saves me 🤞🤞🤞

Usually the opposite. I have a hard time sticking to a book for the first half but race through the second half. I like having several books going at once so I can be at the beginning of one, the middle of one, and the end of one.
