At this point, the book feels very repetitive with Ari saying she wants and needs to kill Zeus, but not doing anything about it, or having setbacks which keeps her from doing it.
It would seem as though the entire idea of 'Zeus being able to see everything' is thrown out the window, because the characters are acting very careless.

To me it sounds as though Ari is easily convinced.
All it takes is a few people with opinions and experiences to sway her.
I believe she has very few morals that this book is feeding off of.
At this point, I am actually pretty annoyed by this book.
I am being very critical of this book, just because I was such a fan of the first one.

Ari Alexander is a character that I feel isn't fully understood when writing her. She comes across as two-faced and have contradicting feelings and actions and thoughts to what she believes already.
It does feel like the second book was written on a whim, edging to finish it in a deadline. It reads very easy, but the story feels very forced. As if there's no good reason for anything to happen, it just does.

I didn't know that this was a series at the time of reading Gravity, which was many years ago.
Which is why I appreciate the slight recap moments mentioned in the book, although I do find it being somewhat unnecessary as the previous book was lodged into my mind and similar scenes do bring up the important details. This, to me, is what good writing is supposed to do.
