I’m halfway through this stunning gothic, macabre high fantasy, and I have no doubt it’s destined to be a 5-star read. The writing is flawless and immersive, drawing me deeply into the characters’ world, especially Torment and Vladimir.
It’s hard to put this book down, but with limited time, a slow reading pace, and the need for sleep, I have no choice.
