Um. I fear I had to give Tessa Bailey her fair shot. This is the first smut book of hers I have given a chance. I fear it will not fare well in the coming ⭐️ section. The romance is poorly written and so are the characters IMHO with interspersed spicy scenes that (1) were completely unexpected given the cover & (2) cringey…? Possibly word choice related. Sticking it out and will finish soon.
