It's getting better. A few twists, some more, some less enjoyable. Do I hate the Main character, yes, Evangeline is annoying because she constantly has the same thoughts about certain characters, though she is growing a bit as a character, just very slowly.

The story is alright, many twists and turns, most of them predictable and not very adrenaline-inducing. The book is alright, if you're looking for a fantasy romance with a naive and hopeful female Main protagonist and her (very)handsome, mysterious and prideful love interest. Though the book did surprise me with the "death" of one of the characters, that's all it did.

An alright book, nothing special what you'd come to expect from its reviews for now. There was maybe one moment that gave me one molecule of dopamine and that happened around the 100 page mark.
