I remember "looking hoping" (Reichardt 247) and "wishing" (Reichardt 247) when I split from my mom in a target. I could not imagine dealing with that after an earthquake.

Charlie talks about how he tends to come up with a solution after he needs a solution: "So welcome to my life, Ruby Tuesday. Freeze in the moment but come up with the perfect solution after the fact" (Reichardt 93). This happens to me way to often where I'll be confused in the moment, but then reflect back and realise it was a simple solution.
