They treated the natives really bad with bad living conditions and racism. They said it smelled horrible and there was no clean water besides a little stream. Then they used them for war but they couldn’t go back home at all.

They started talking about a bomb that had the words “long live kabuki “ which I found weird because I am wondering who that is. I don’t think I've heard that name in any other part. Then the bomb strapped to it why would they blow up their own flag I thought that was a no no.

The jap soldier was talking about how the soldiers killed themselves because they didn't want there family to know they were alive. I wonder why tho? because why wouldn't you want your family to have hope that you would come home. Maybe because they didn't want there family to lose hope of them dying.

I don’t know how those soldiers that were in t-shirts thought they would survive in attu even if it was just a 3 day battle. I mean temperatures at night in alaska aren’t really wear a t-shirt and leather boots. More like wear 20 layers so I think they are lucky for only losing 43 men on the first day.

They captured one of the weathermen for America and they gave him a lot of food. He said he got viewed like he was a monkey at a zoo, I think they did cause they didn't know like how he acted and all that. So basically they did it because he is unusual.

There were kids that were 12 years old loading up bombs to defend their country. I wouldn’t of done that 2 years ago those kids loved their tribe and lived for them. There tribe where all they had they didn’t have hundreds pf friends they had there little family and thats it.

I wonder why the government lied about Alaska and how it got invaded by japan. I feel like that's not something you lie about especially to a country that got bombed a couple years ago, by the same country. I feel like that was a bad move by the president and not smart.

They just got invaded by the japanese and I wonder why the U.S navy didn’t help. They have a stronger navy than japan and have more people too. Then that 1 guy waving his shorts as a flag I would rather die fighting than die giving up.

I had an AH-ha moment because there is a dog named explosion. I didn’t really understand the name until they said it was because he survived one. WHich is pretty cool and a really cool name.

I have a question: why did the Chinese choose to attack attu. It isn't a military base and has nothing important besides weather being accurate 60% of the time. It’s just a small town with not that many people so not that many workers and they were cruel to the people of attu.
