Uh I like that. Also this whole book reminded me so much of The Parisian and the idea of loving as a place and lovers as land or a room or a piece of solid history that always comes back.
Agh I'm so obsessed, the idea of loss constantly everywhere (also in if Bale street could talk) and not even loss but how human and normal is loosing forever.

I think I need to read happier books

Also loosing a language and the identity that comes with it!

I read this in German and I really lost the beauty of his writing... I think I need to find an English copy
