'I don't do dresses Everlayne' - while i do understand this for Saeris' character, i wish we had more FMC's in fantasy embracing womenly things like wearing a dress - you can be badass and wear a dress !!!

I like the fight scenes , they are written quite well

I do not have enough braincells for this - Idk how we got here already but sure !!! Spending more energy being like ‘huhhhhhh’ than actually reading

(Of course we randomly remember the bite at the end of the chapter)

I had to read this scene three times - she went from being bit ‘almost down to the bone’ to ‘applying pressure to stop the bleeding’ for “puncture marks” to magically getting new clothes and being fine , yay for pants ??? That just doesn’t add upppp - no need for medical attention?? - was she just being dramatic - who knows

It’s actually getting interesting now 🤔
