Greatly enjoyed "The Bridge," "The Bucket Rider," "An Old Manuscript," "The Knock at the Manor Gate," "Eleven Sons," "My Neighbor," and "The Cares of a Family Man."

Realizing it would be much simpler to list the stories I didn't absolutely love.

Of "The Shorter Stories" thus far I've greatly enjoyed:
"Clothes," "The Tradesman," "Passers-By," "Reflections for Gentlemen-Jockeys," "Bachelor's Ill Luck," "A Dream," "A Fratricide," "The Next Village," "A Visit to a Mine," and "Jackals and Arabs."

Finished "The Longer Stories." Can add "The Burrow" to my list of favorites.

Seeing as I'm nearing the end of "The Longer Stories," I thought I'd list my favorite stories thus far:
"The Judgment," "The Metamorphosis," "In the Penal Colony," "The Village Schoolmaster [The Giant Mole]," "Blumfeld, an Elderly Bachelor," "A Country Doctor," "A Report to an Academy," "The Refusal," and "A Hunger Artist."
Honorable mentions: "The Great Wall of China" and "Investigations of a Dog."

Read "The Metamorphosis." I'm left devastated.
