Excited to read this and see a thorough explanation of women's social relation to production in a capitalist society. A rigorous analysis of women's relation to the circuit of production will help hopefully illuminate just where effective revolutionary interventions can be made. While concepts like emotional labor are useful I think getting more precise about how gender relates to economics/production is key

I revisited a radical reading group list and this was one of the readings. I also thought this book was a good topic because I started to read the essay 'The Logic of Gender On the separation of spheres and the process of abjection' by endnotes whose application of Marx's concepts in Capital and how housework and social reproduction relates to the capital circuit of production and value creation was precise and I think a promising perspective for rigorous analysis.
