It is a true story about a seven-year-old protagonist who begins by describing the norms of generational life in a Mormon family in Buck's Peak -a remote mountain in rural Idaho. Foreign was the public school system, a social security number, or any entity of the government. Each chapter seems to concentrate on certain specific/interesting concepts of her culture that definitely help quickly capture my attention!
