Anna, Alexei and Vronsky's situation is so regrettably fascinating... It's interesting how they got into the situation in the first place. So far I like how Tolstoy describes everything and character thoughts in minute detail.

Levin is an interesting and authentic character!

"From Varenka she understood that you had to only forget yourself and love others and you would be calm, happy and beautiful." - Part 2 Ch 33. Each character has so much depth. The littlest interactions, a look, a sigh, a wayward smile are all captured thereby making the characters realistic and believable.

Scandal! Interesting fact about divorce laws before the Russian revolution. The woman can't remarry!

Anna and Vronsky's relationship is picking up. It would seem that resistance is futile. Levin seem out of sorts...character conversations are interesting.
