Narrators are not good. Every girl has a NY accent, like the narrator can’t think of how to differentiate them any other way. Not nearly enough trauma considering — no way to believe everyone just accepted this. The Gardener is stupid name. Does he spend millions on this compound? And his wife doesn’t notice this HUGE place he goes?
