Wonderful dark romance that gives off Hades and Persephone vibes up to the first have of the book. I’m currently about 3/4 of the way through and the cartel/mafia themes quickly picked up. As the content warning of the book impose, there’s heavy themes of forced drugging and human trafficking so viewer discretion is advised.
