From the final, seventh chapter: "They do have something they call education, but it is just a collection of traditional activities, a machine which they worship for its own sake. The result is pitiful. ...They are forever blocked in attempts to better their lives by reason of having only mis-education, pseudo education, in place of real education."

The primary goal of education should be the improvement, betterment, and increase of wisdom of the people it teaches, not merely preserving the supposed "wisdom" of the past--teaching people the knowledge, wisdom, and skills they need to live in society.

Read chapter 5. "Education and Paleolithic Security."

When an educational system stops to think about the future and necessary good of its students, it becomes just a place where supposed teachers and professors are vying for more and more faux respectability and the appearance of being educated!

This book surely gets me fired up. Its satire is humorous and eye-opening. Done with Chapter Four: Higher Paleolithic Education.

How pathetic an educational system has become, if what it teaches and does are just for the appearance that students are learning relevant things, when in reality they are not!

Done reading Chapter 3: "The Real-Tiger School." On to the next chapter!
