Easily one of the best books on poetry (both reading and writing) I've ever read, and I'm not even a third of the way in. Gentle, wry, encouraging. Approaches the fundamentals in a way that is both enlightening and inspirational, providing thoughts and exercises that build on one another and broaden one's grasp of the art form, whether the reader is seasoned or still raw. Highly, highly recommended.
