ASK QUESTIONS: one question I have is that why are all the Muslims being taken from their homes and being kept in these small homes and being mistreated. There being kept for no reason on page 317 its says " After walking a couple hundred yards we stop, I'm pulled through another door not a car but a building. This shows that they are being mistreated

Static vs Dynamic:The protagonist in my book is Layla is dynamic. She is dynamic because at first she thought that she was being kept at this camp and nothing bad was gonna happen, Later on she changed a lot because she realized that the people were being really brutal on them and even one of her friends brother died. This shows that Layla is dynamic and not static.

Conflict : character vs society. Layla and her family and lots of others are being kept in this camp where they can't go out and keep in their small houses and being mistreated. in this chapter they were going on lock down and were being surrounded by helicopter that was blowing around them and irritating them

The protagonist of my book is Layla she is around 15-16 years old and she speaks English. her family and her have been taken to this camp that is in the middle of nowhere. she has a boyfriend named David and they can't meet so she tried to meet with him but she thought that we would be too risky.

My book is a 1st person narrator told by a girl named Sophia. I know this because it says "I strain to listen for boots on the pavement. This shows that my book is told by a character in the story.

the time of this place is its night time and it is at her house, her dad is asking where she was because it was past her curfew she stayed silent and her mom asked but she still stayed silent. She finally spoke up and she said that she was with David and her mom went to the living room. Her dad said that it was very dangerous cause it was night and anything could happen.
