Also have to note that I came into this reading thinking it was darker, like it claimed to be.

But it wasn’t.

And I doubt it got any better the last forty percent I didn’t care to trudge through.

So I’m not putting it on my dark shelf.

The only positive thing I can say about this book, is at least it’s off of my reading list.

Now, it can rot on my utter shit shelf.

This book/series is apparently a spin off or whatever from a dragon shifter series(??) 🤷🏻‍♀️

But based off of what I’ve already managed to read of this book / author so far, I def will not be checking out the dragon one.

Ugh.

Chapter sixteen

Idk how I read as much as I did to get even this far

I’m so fucking bored out of my skull rn

I’ll be chapter page skim reading from this point on.
There’s just under three hundred pages left of this shit and I refuse to read it all.

I hate this writing style.
It’s clunky and annoying as hell to try to read.
The fmc is snarky and not in an entertaining way 98% of the time.

The very first few lines were intriguing

But then the rest of chapter one was a bore to read.
