I'm up to either the 3rd or 4th narrator, I think, and just over the hump. They sure are solving this mystery subtly and soberly... and slowly. Still, for the first time in the book it feel like the heroes are actually figuring things out rather than just fumbling blindly. It's not bad, but the language in mannered and it could do with a dose of stark cosmic terror.
