I feel like the only thing keeping this book from being incredibly depressing and horrific is the narrator being very matter of fact about it and actively being snarky about it. Don't love the crochet slander though :(

I picked this book up because it seemed interesting and the main character is named Galadriel. I don't mind the information dumps because I picked up this book for the setting and concept, not the plot.
