I write poetry. I like poetry. I've read a good amount of poems. I don't think I've ever had a collection of poetry absolutely slam into me like this. Every single poem is incredible, and they all make me feel like I couldn't capture anything about the experience of Nova Scotian melancholy and loss with my own pen that isn't in this book. Stunning. Saving the last few poems for tomorrow.
