How does it happen that I go on a ten-day vacation to DO NOTHING but laze by a pool and read and I read fewer books than a typical week of home/work/life stuff?

LOL I was expecting a ton of reviews in your feed when you came back because I was sure you were reading up a storm. I'm not mad, drinking had to happen. I approve of many margaritas.

IT HAD TO HAPPEN, and I'm not even a little bit sorry.I had the best intentions for lots of reading. I downloaded about 15 books in addition to all the TBRs I already have to choose from.
I read three.
And I have a few cocktail napkins full of illegible scribbles to cobble together a few reviews.
The good news is I have the rest of the week off to recover, get those reviews done, and hopefully read a few more before work smacks me in the face.
I understand! I've been reading way more than I've been writing but once I get past edits, I have one more project to work on for this year to meet release goals and the rest is planning for next year. I have to say, I'm dying to read your review of an ARC you have that I don't. *cue jealousy* I can't wait for release day! :-P
