It starts off with Maggie and killigan driving to meet Maggie sister and parents for brunch since in the last book they were on their way to Maggie's sisters house for dinner when all hell broke loss with vampires. They meet with her sister and husband and parents to find out her sister is expecting a baby and they find out the ship they are having brunch on is haunted and has vampires.

I still can't get over the humor in these books it's funny it's exactly what I would be saying to some with the mentality of the elf.
