I think the POINT is to get drawn in ... to remain suspended in mid-air right alongside the MCs ...

I am thinking this was Stephen Hoppa's point ... this was his intention ... to keep his readers guessing, frustrated, and incapable of pulling away; much like Ethan's relationship with Nathan!!

// Is it wrong that it isn't the really (intentionally) odd way the relationship between the two MCs is starting out, but the fact that Ethan [the MC I'm "hearing" in first person] keeps saying "anyways" that bothers me?!? LOL!!
To keep on point, I'm thinking the dysfunctional way these two are starting out isn't dysfunctional at all but that there's WAY more to it. I'm intrigued.
