Eye opening regarding how the inner workings of the inner city society function. Using first hand accounts drives home the point.

Looking forward to learning about this topic and seeing how things may have changed from the early/mid 1980s to the mid/late 1990s.

For those of us who grew up in an urban environment, especially in the a north and east, the progression described by Anderson along Georgetown Avenue is very familiar and understood.
