It's interesting to see how the ratings of books on Fable are lower compared to Goodreads. Fable is really growing on me. It offers a refreshing change—it's a space where genuine book lovers come together to read, discuss, and share honest reviews. It's great to be part of a community where the focus is on the books themselves, not on boosting each other's ratings.

This place is infested with influencers now who inflate ratings. I trust a few people here and tune out the rest.

It's should be ABOUT books; sharing, talking about what gets us excited or doesn't get us excited. I love to read indie reads and support indie authors but unfortunately many of the indie writers have a hard time realizing that NOT everyone is going to love their writing AND that's okay. Every writer can't be everyone's jam. You have to find your crowd.
Absolutely agree. I hate having to start over on another app but I might check out Fable.

You create an account and with one click you import everything to Fable from Goodreads. Easy peasy. I use both Fable and Goodreads nowadays.
