Sometimes these methods don’t work for older kids 5-7 as they do for younger 2-4

I am trying to figure out how to talk to these kids I au pair because in the past I would have not been the nicest but I am trying to be better.

I’m at the hitting/biting and throwing chapter

I think I can be a good au pair and parent with this book

I am starting to think that maybe I can be a good parent one day.

I’m starting to feel like maybe I can be a parent one day and say the right things so my kids will listen and want to talk back but deep down I know not everyone experience or conversation will go as I want it to go.
