Which would maybe work for a novella but I’ve got half the book left and it basically feels like it could be over

Also maybe it would work if it was a bit more mysterious but we get both POVs so we know way too early that they’re both instantly gone. Also they’ve kissed before 50% and any remainjmg tension will immediately be gone as soon as they bang
