Curious to know…authors and writers out there, what types of POVs/how many POVs do you like reading/writing??

Reader here: I actually prefer 2-3 over just one. I think it adds a lot to the story! Having said that, I have read single perspective stories I really enjoyed. Many of those were in first person. Still, my fav is different angles.

I really like 2 people’s perspectives back and forth and maybe a very few amount of times add a 3rd person like a protagonist’s pov or something. 😄👍🏻
🤨 okay. I ask this because I’m working on a three POV story. Two third person and one first person…so I’m wondering if that’s just odd or what?
Depends on the story for me. I've written/read books with as few as one POV and as many as eight+. If the story is done well and the characters are memorable/unique enough to warrant those extra POVs, stories with many POVs don't bother me. It's when all the POVs sound the same or bring nothing unique to the table that it starts to get annoying and hard to follow.
