His sister is playing the violin and nobody is really giving her any attention. Gregor comes out of his room to show her that he cares and wants to listen, but instead, he ends up scaring the lodgers.

The charwoman is watching over Gregor. She isn't of him. Gregor isn't eating.

His father tells his mother to close the door to Gregor's room, leaving him in darkness.

His father throws an apple at him, which disables him for a month. Noone took the apple out of him

His mother sees him, freaks out, and faints. His father comes home and is upset. Gregory barely recognizes him.

He is unsure about how the now empty room should make him feel.

His mother finally sees him after 2 months. She decides to clear out his room to let him move around more free. He likes the space to move, but feels like he is losing one of the last parts that connects to his human part.

The sister is taking more responsibility around the house. Its been a fortnight and his parents still haven't come and seen him

The family is trying to find jobs to help the family, but it isn't going well. The father is growing fat and sluggish

He is hungry and tries to find food. He doesn't like the milk even though it used to be his favorite drink
