I really thoroughly enjoy this book but zero people who have talked to me about it game and while I admire how Zevin develops the story in such a way you don’t need to get the references, I am enjoying it so much because I *do* get them. a fucking persona mention?? My mother didnt understand that when she read it 😭 crazy how we can take different things away from the same text
